Nourish - Year 6 Girls Transition Program
Nourish is a fun space for the current Year 6 girls to meet with the Secondary Chaplain. We have a stretch and flexibility session, then take some time to chat about the transition into the Secondary College while enjoying delicious smoothies (made by the talented Mrs Jackson and the hospitality students). Chaplaincy Delegates from the Secondary College also attend and share their wisdom with students. We are blessed to have such a wonderful group of girls willing to share their journey with the younger students.
Nourish runs over three weeks from Week 3 to 5, in the Sports Centre Conference Room from 8.15-8.55 am for all Year 6 girls.
Looking forward to our next sessions!

What sport means to me and my future goals:
I want to keep improving, aiming to break more records and continue competing to represent the State as well as Australia at National and International events. I love being part of a community of people who are driven, committed and focused.
I also want to support and mentor others to do the best they can in their chosen sports.

On Wednesday 26 October, the Year 10 cohort enjoyed an action filled Wellbeing Day. The focus of this day is to give the students an opportunity to ‘reset’ and find the balance in their physical, mental, emotional, and social factors of their lives. Wellbeing is strongly linked to happiness and life satisfaction, which leads to how a person feels about themselves and their life.
Students participated in African Drumming, Laser Tag, Stretch and Flex exercises and Sport Games such as volleyball, basketball, badminton and table tennis.
They enjoyed a pizza lunch with a soft drink, followed by an ice cream for dessert.
The students left energised with smiling faces, and spoke positively about what they had experienced on the day.
