Drama Spotlight
Year 9 Drama Production

On Monday 6 November the Year 9 Drama class participated in a performance incursion where they performed a production of Law & Order: Fairytale Unit in Founders Hall.
The play included lots of recognisable fairytale characters placed in a modern-day court case where the Big Bad Wolf faces trial. In the fairytale criminal justice system, the characters from fairytales and nursery rhymes are represented by two separate yet equally ridiculous groups: the fairytale police who investigate fairytale crime, and the fairytale district attorneys who prosecute the fairytale offenders.
The audience of Year 2s especially liked the slow-motion chase scene and Hansel and Gretel’s trail of sweets.

Year 7 Circus Incursion
Roll up! Roll up! On Tuesday 5 December, the circus came to Founders Hall! Josh from Circus Challenge, otherwise known as ‘the circus man,’ visited our Year 7 Drama students for a specialist incursion. We spent two hours learning circus tricks, including plate spinning, juggling, ‘fire’ twirling, diabolo throwing and balancing. The students had so much fun!
