In a heartwarming display of community spirit and environmental stewardship, the Year 6 students at our school decided to pool their hard-earned money from the recent Market Day and donate their collection of $1500 to The House of Hope Africa as well as purchase a special tree, as a farewell gift to the Primary school. Their collective decision to donate money to a charity and to invest in a tree not only reflects their sense of responsibility towards their community and environment, but also serves as a symbolic gesture of growth and continuity for future generations of students.

This act of generosity showcases the maturity and empathy of these young individuals, leaving a positive and inspiring mark on their school community as they move on to new adventures and the significance of leaving a lasting legacy.
