Sports Awards Evening

Lake Joondalup Baptist College’s fifth Sports Awards Evening took place on Friday 24 November in the Auditorium.
This event recognises those staff and students who have contributed to building a positive sporting culture at the College throughout the year. Awards are presented to students who have excelled in CAS co-curricular teams, LJBC Inter House and ACC Inter School Carnivals and School Sport WA events.
Students are also acknowledged for representing Western Australia in sporting fields which may not be offered at the College e.g. Pickleball, Trampoline Gymnastics and Surf Life Saving.
Our Special Guest Speaker, former Perth Wildcats Captain and International Basketballer Damien Martin delivered a motivational presentation which was enjoyed by athletes and parents alike. This included his background and rise in the sport to play in the Australian Boomers at many International events including the 2016 Rio Olympics.
