From the Curriculum Team
It has been a very busy Term 1 with Year 12s off to a great start with their Induction day at the Swan Valley Adventure Centre on January 30. Time did not stand still as they stepped into the classes the very next day for start of their classroom studies. This week was the first of the Parent/Teacher/Student interviews with the Year 12 cohort as they settle into the year of study.
NAPLAN has started this week for our Year 7s and Year 9s- Please support your student by reassuring them to just do their best and to understand that NAPLAN is just assessing the skills they are learning through their curriculum at school. Questions are linked to the Australian Curriculum: English and Mathematics.
The closing date for Term 1 College Colours is fast approaching. Please ensure you submit all parts to complete your application. If you have any queries, please see one of the Committee members listed on the Posters throughout the College or see me in the Curriculum Office.
