Since 2009, Lynton Smith has been integral to our college community, serving as Head of Department - Careers. From the very beginning, his dedication to student success was clear. Lynton approached his role with a genuine passion for helping students achieve their potential and envisioned a future beyond high school. He has always focused on creating opportunities for students and seeing their potential.

Lynton’s influence on our college is profound, particularly how he created a culture of opportunity. His leadership in the Careers Department has made Lake Joondalup Baptist College a place where ideas are welcomed and students are encouraged to grow. As Lynton embarks on his well-deserved retirement, we reflect on the many lives he has impacted. Our students' achievements are lasting tributes to the work Lynton has done here.
