The WA Institute of Sport is participating in an Australia-wide talent search program for our next generation of Olympians. The hope is that this uncovers talent for the upcoming home Olympics in Brisbane 2032.

You may have been watching the Olympics and seen some great Aussie successes. Many of these athletes switched into these sports later in life once they found they had the attributes needed for a new activity. Programmes such as the one we are taking part in often uncover these talents, which then help them switch to new sports.

This year, they are searching for cyclists, kayakers and rowers.

WAIS are at Lake Joondalup Baptist College on the 22 August to conduct the testing.

If you feel you have what it takes or would like to know if you have the needed attributes, we welcome you to contact us and put yourself forward.These programs are designed for athletes of all levels, including those with no prior experience in any of the events.
