Inclusive Cricket

We are thrilled to announce an event that took place recently. One of our Alumni, Rob Corrigan, hosted an introductory session on blind cricket. This was an exciting opportunity for our Year 4 to 6 students to learn more about inclusion in the sport and broaden their understanding of different cricket categories.
Rob, who works in the Intellectual Disability (ID) cricket space, is passionate about raising awareness of blind cricket. Not only did he lead the session, but he also engaged with our students about various forms of inclusive cricket. He coordinated with WA Cricket to provide special equipment, including blind cricket balls and vision obstruction glasses, enhancing the experience for everyone involved.
We were proud to have 24 enthusiastic students in our weekly cricket club who loved playing cricket. This session was a fantastic way to spark their interest in positively impacting their community.
