We were grateful to welcome guest speaker Ed Devine to LJBC this week, sharing with our Year 7s about the struggles of people in our world and the power of advocacy for foreign aid. Students had the opportunity to choose to add their voice to a petition asking our local MP to raise Australia’s foreign aid budget.
It was inspiring to see young people learning that their voice matters - and using it to speak up for those in greater need.
