The LJBC Primary Girls Football Academy teams competed in the SSWA Northern Championships last week and finished as winners in a competitive competition. The girls went unbeaten throughout the tournament, progressing through the group stage before edging out Peter Moyes 2-1 in a well-contested final.

With schools from across the metro area involved – including Mercy College, St James Alkimos, Burns Beach, Our Lady of Mercy, and the eventual finalists – every match presented a new challenge.

The girls not only achieved good results in the competition but conducted themselves superbly: They showed genuine teamwork, humility, and respect throughout the day and represented the College well. Congratulations to all the players involved in this great achievement!
