The Year 10 Career Focus Day was on Monday 23 June and focused on continuing to discover post school opportunities.

We had presentations from external providers: TAFE, Edith Cowan University, Sheridan Institute of Higher Learning, and MEGT Apprenticeship Support group about post school options and pathways. We also heard from our current Year 12 student Riley Simpson speaking of her upcoming Gap Year trip to Spain where she will be volunteering in a school.

We then moved to the Sport Centre onto our Community Career Conversations, and these were a highlight for many students. We had almost 40 community members who were representing 19 different industries! Students had the opportunity to choose 3 of the different industries to connect with and get the inside info from people who work in the field.
