Across the first week of Term 3 we have taken groups of students from Year 9 through to Year 12 to AQWA.

It was a jam-packed day with experiences included fish feeding, water testing, beach microplastic sampling, a behind the scenes tour of the coral conservatory, turtle feeding and a research workshop, and a glass bottom boat tour of the aquarium – the marine life is so much bigger from above the aquarium! This was a highlight.

We hope to have sparked career curiosity in students in the fields of aquaculture, environmental science, and marine and zoological tourism.
