LJBC Football Academy Update

We're proud to share two exciting football highlights from LJBC:
At the end of last term, we welcomed back former LJBC student and newly signed Manchester United player James Overy. James joined our Period 0 football session and hosted a special Q&A with students from Years 3–12. A brilliant moment of inspiration for our young players – thank you, James!
LJBC Represented at the National Level
Over the school holidays, LJBC Football Academy coaches John Walmsley and Brad Hassell led the WA U15 Boys at the Emerging Socceroos U15 Championships in Melbourne, reaching the semi-finals after defeating NSW, QLD, and NT. Tristan Roesch & Ryan Moradi were part of the 18-player WA Squad, with Noah Lowden & Joseph Carle also in the extended training squad. Meanwhile, in Sydney, Year 10 students Daisy Snowden and Daisy McGreadie-Cole represented WA in the Emerging Matildas U15 Championships, playing key roles for Western Australia. Well done to all involved!
