Windsor Words
It is great to be back in 2019, with the wonderful Windsor students. The students showed great attitude and commitment in the swimming carnival, with much effort accompanying several champion swimmers! We look forward to the day when Windsor wins the swimming shield for the first time.
We celebrate many champions in Windsor, some of these being Liam Dardengo, who will be competing in the National Athletics Championships in April in javelin and triple jump. State champion Edie Bushby, will be competing in the Australian Surf Life Saving Competition on the Gold Coast at the end of March in the First Aid and Rescue and Resuscitation championships. I have appreciated the many champion attitudes from Windsor students in the way they have begun the year and it’s been great to see.
I warmly welcome all the new members to the Windsor family. Faith Hunter joins our Year 11 cohort, Elliot Minchin joins Year 9 and sisters Cara-Jayne and Chantelle Benson join Year 8 and 10 respectively. A hearty welcome to you all! I had a fabulous time getting to know the Windsor Year 7 students at camp recently. They are a bunch of superstars and I look forward to seeing them achieve their wonderful potential in the coming years.
Blessings to all the Windsor families for 2019!
