Welcome to 2019! Wow! It’s Week 4 already and so much has happened in such a short time. I hope this year is going to be filled with good challenges, new expectations and great friendships.
Boxes we have already ticked since the start of the year include: the Student Council Induction Day that was held at Aloha Surfhouse, meeting and welcoming our friendly Year 7 students, Year 12 Retreat Day in the Swan Valley, Swimming Carnival and the Year 7 Camp at Serpentine.
I would also like to congratulate and introduce our amazing and very talented Arcadia Student Council.

Student achievements
Congratulations to Hannah Boshoff who has been selected to compete in the U15 National Hockey Championships in NSW. Excellent achievement, well done Hannah!
Charity Event
Arcadia and Batavia Houses are joining forces again with our charity event supporting the Starlight Foundation. This foundation aims to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families. Please get involved and support this fundraiser in any way you can.
Let’s join forces Arcadia House! Every day is an opportunity for us to make a difference to the people around us, a friendly smile, lending a hand, supporting those in need, being a friend to someone are all part of being an Arcadian and part of College life. Let your older self, one day be proud of your younger self, someone who stepped up, got involved and made memories during high school life.
