Highlights from P&F Meeting 27 February 2018

• The P&F has approved 4 Buddy Benches for the school – these are being fabricated and will be placed in specific locations around the school.
• We have approved to purchase 40 bike racks for the school – we are in the process of looking at the design and where they will be located.
• We have approved the purchase of 2 BBQ’s for Mr Chappell’s fitness club and we have purchased a new and bigger fridge for the fitness club.
• We are looking for volunteers to help with the Colour Run on 5 April please email ljbcparentsandfriends@gmail.com to sign up.
• Mr Sonneman-Smith spoke about the after school sports starting soon, X-sport, and how parents can get involved. More details available soon.
• Mrs Harris spoke about the new exciting Ship playground in the ELC.
• Mrs Roodt spoke about the new initiative for ROC reading for Year 6 going into classrooms and doing reading with them in their classrooms.
• Mr Chappell share news on the lapathon which raised $10 000 for House of Hope and the Easter assembly on Friday 12April. Parents welcome to attend.
