LJ Speaks
During Week 9, our Primary School presented the finals of our public speaking competition - LJ Speaks. On both mornings we watched incredibly talented public speakers from Years 1-6 present on topics ranging from ‘How to Look After a Puppy’ to ‘William Tell’ to ‘The Brain’. Once again, we were so impressed with the confidence and professionalism shown by our young students. Each year, the quality of our students’ public speaking improves, making the job of the judges extremely hard. In many cases, there was a matter of one or two points between first and third places. Thank you to our judges across both mornings – Mrs Roodt, Mrs de Jong, Mrs Hawkey, Mr Gaudin, Mrs Jarvis and Mr Young.
