We are excited to have been able to hold our first camp for the year at Bickley Outdoor Recreation Campsite with 40 cadets attending, and doing an amazing job. The weather held up for the most part, giving the cadets the opportunity to learn some new skills and practice some old skills. Fun was had canoeing on the dam, building catapults, climbing ropes and ladders, as well as searching for clues of the missing soldier. Singing songs around the campfire while roasting marshmallows is also a great way to end any day. The Cadets who attended should be congratulated for the way they came together and worked as a team unpacking and packing up tents as well unloading the trailer so efficiently.

This term has also seen many Cadets earn their CPR qualification, which is a credit to them, as well as having the opportunity to participate in our local SES training evening. We also have our Fire Extinguisher course to look forward to later this term.
