The Humanities Office is located in Room 3. Each department member is also contactable via email or direct message on Seqta. Alternatively, you can call us via the College reception with any questions you may have.

Humanities is an exciting learning area, that allows students to use their different skills and learning styles. There are four main units of study in Humanities in Year 7 to 10. These include Geography, Economics & Business, History & Civics and Citizenship. In Year 11 and 12, our students have the option of taking ATAR or General courses. The Humanities department currently offers the following subjects to our upper school students: ATAR Economics, ATAR Politics and Law, ATAR modern History, ATAR Accounting and Finance, General Economics and General Business, Management and Enterprise.

Students will study human behavior and interaction in social, cultural, environmental, economic, and political contexts. The Humanities area aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to understand the world they live in and how to be active and informed citizens in the 21st century.

We look forward to helping your child grow this year and achieve their goals.

Telma Keen
Head of Humanities
