Legacy of Lancier

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
While the plans for the start of the year may not have been what we all thought they would, I am proud to say our students have all taken it in their stride and have leaned into the different start at the College. To the families of the Year 7s and new students I would like to extend a warm welcome to Lancier.
I would like to encourage all students to revise their plans and try something new this year, to go out side their comfort zones and see what the College has to offer you, whether that is Cadets, CAS or any of the other clubs that are on offer. You never know what could come of it until you try.
The Student Council for 2021 has started to settle into their new roles as young leaders of Lancier, and participated in a leadership team building day before the start of the term at Outback Splash. I look forward to seeing which of the Year 7s will be selected in the coming weeks to complete the council. Congratulations once again to our Councilors’ who want to lead with a "Service Heart":
Year 8 – Moesha and Akein
Year 9 – Marni and Christopher
Year 10 – Nicolette and Brock
Year 11 – Jessica and Joseph
House Captains – Brooke and Junior
Head Girl – Tilly
Head Boy – Daniel
I hope that we all continue to remember that His plans are greater than our own and that no matter what comes in 2021, to look for the positives and acknowledge the gifts that we have been given to make great changes in our own lives and of those around us.
