あけましておめでとうございます

New Year is the biggest celebration in Japan and our LJBC primary students enjoyed learning about how it is celebrated in their Japanese classes. 2021 is Ushidoshi the ‘Year of the Cow.’ Our Pre Primary to Year 2 students made cow puppets, Year 3 students made cow door hangers, Year 4 classes enjoyed making ema cow themed decorations and Year 5 students made uchiwa traditional fans. It was a nice opportunity for our students to share with us how they celebrate significant events with their families and the wider community.
