On Thursday 4 March the Years 9, 10, 11 and 12 French students travelled to the city to watch the film Of love and lies which was being screened as part of the Alliance Française French Film Festival. This festival takes place every year in all major

 Australian cities and is an important event in the French cultural calendar. The students viewed the film in French with English subtitles which allowed them to improve their understanding of the language and culture.
