Cumberland Corner

Second Term is flying! We are in the midst of NAPLAN for our students in Years 7 and 9 as the Upper School exams are just around the corner.
We had beautiful weather for our Inter House Cross Country and it was great to see all of our students participating in the event. Cumberland students did us proud. Congratulations to the following students for their excellent performance:
Jazlyn 1st in Year 12 girls
Jordan 2nd in Year 12 girls
Dylan 2nd in Year 12 boys
James 2nd in Year 11 boys
Ben 1st in Year 10 boys
Lauren 2nd Year 9 girls
Adam 3rd in Year 9 boys
Congratulations to Michael who not only represented the College at the Inter School Swimming Competition, but also competed in the WA Long Course State Championships last month. Well done Michael!
I would like to welcome Mr Lyndon Rice who has ‘chamelonised’ into the green team! He will be taking care of the 8C1 Connect class for the remainder of the year while Mr Matthew Potts is working in the House Centre.
Cumberland and James Houses will be joining forces to support the charity Foodbank. The councillors are busy planning for the ‘Can Drive’ and other events to raise additional money for this worthy cause. Please keep an eye on the notices!
Wishing all Cumberland families the best for Term 2.
