Constable Care Fun-Scary incursion

On Wednesday, Kindergarten to Year 3 students enjoyed a visit from Constable Care, along with Timmy, Teagan, Grandma and Sarge, the dog. This puppet show complemented the Protective Behaviours Health Program we revisit each year, for children to practise identifying comfortable and uncomfortable feelings and practising using strategies for when feeling unsafe.
We were proud of the ideas the students shared during question time, giving appropriate responses for differentiating between fun-scary and bad-scary scenarios, nominating physical warning signs and discerning when to seek help from their trusted network.
Some of the show’s enjoyment is captured here in the photographs.
