This Semester in the General Integrated Science Course, the students worked very hard maintaining all the current aquaponic systems in the Science garden. They were measuring the water parameters, harvesting and planting new seedlings as well as keeping the weeds under control.

Through this course, students not only studied the interaction of the biotic and abiotic in re-circulating aquaponics system, but also learned about the technical side of a continuous flow re-circulating aquaponic system. Students designed, sourced and cost materials, and then finally constructed their chosen design in teams. Congratulations Year 11 Integrated Science students on amazing designs, and excellency executed. I am very proud of you!
