We have reached the end of Semester 1, and to think back just a year ago when we had to push through a huge character-building exercise called Covid-19, as we again adjust to the newest announcements. Well done Arcadia House on the resilience you are showing. Having an 11 Week Term in itself is a huge challenge, but we are very close to a well-deserved holiday break. I have no doubt in my mind, that even if you have to change your holiday plans, you will take it in your stride and improvise.   

Thank you to all the Year 8 and 9 students who participated in the Wii games both last term and this term, you have done us proud. We are looking forward to cheering on our Year 7 teams in Term 3 to finish off the battle. Best of luck to our Chess participants who are also battling it out next term.  

The Athletics Carnival is happening in Term 3 with the pre-carnival events,1500m and 800m long-distance events, during Connect in Weeks 2 and 3. Arcadia, make sure you participate and bring the point’s home!

Congratulations again to all our Arcadians who have achieved so well in their external events outside of school. We are proud of you and celebrating with you too!

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful and safe holiday break. May you rest well and come back full of energy to take on a new Term.
