Congratulations to Mrs Sonja van Aswegen who recently received the 2020 inaugural Facilitator of the Year award for her contribution in providing students with opportunities to develop their 21^st century skills such as complex critical thinking, creative problem solving, effective communication and collaboration.

The Creative Edge Problem Solving Challenge is an innovative educational competition providing students with motivating challenges that will develop both critical and creative thinking skills. In 2020, LJBC won both the Science and Engineering and the Society and Environment state titles and we also won the Creativity Award across all divisions.
