Middle School Ethics Olympiad

Ten LJBC students recently competed in the Ethics Olympiad, a prestigious competition where students discuss the ethics behind a range of case studies. The topics included some big issues like the importance of the environment versus the economy, the ethics of lying, and the dangers of gender stereotyping. We had two teams participating, competing with schools from all around WA, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
LJBC did incredibly well in this competition. Our Year 9 team received impeccable feedback from the judges against some really competitive teams and our year 7/8 team came third overall, receiving bronze medals for their hard work. They also received an honourable mention from the judges for their insights.
We are so proud of these students.
