Whatever happened to those four and twenty blackbirds who were baked in a pie? Did the tortoise really beat the hare? On Monday 15 November, the Year 8 Drama classes answered these questions (and more!) for two of the Primary School classes in Founders Hall. In small groups, students workshopped, rehearsed and presented a short play based on various nursery rhymes. 

Applying voice and movement techniques to enhance their characterisation, students also incorporated costumes, props and music into their performance, which helped to transport the audience to the make believe world of each play. Well done to the Year 8 students for working together to put on an entertaining showcase.
