Our Community
We welcome all our LJBC families to our College Community.
Our two main parent groups are our Primary Parents & Friends (P&F) and our Secondary Parents & Collegians Auxiliary (PCA). These groups are active in identifying and facilitating ways to join together and provide support. In partnership with College staff, they seek to create opportunities for families and students to connect, engage and grow together in our community.
Representatives from each of these two groups meet throughout the year for discussion, and join with a wider group who offer help and support to facilitate events and activites.
Our PCA forms an integral part of fostering our school community and culture, and we are looking forward to a year of growth.
After a difficult couple of years, community and connection is more important than ever, and our goal for 2022 is to expand our presence and support. We currently have a variety of positions available as well as ad-hoc projects that would require assistance from our wider school community.
If you are interested in finding out more about the PCA, and perhaps would like to become involved, we warmly invite you to join us for our first planning meeting for 2022. Our Committee has some vacancies, and we would really like to hear from anyone who may be able to offer support in this capacity. Come along and meet other parents, alumni and staff and find out more about how your help and support will not only contribute to our school but also enrich your children’s’ experience during their time at LJBC and beyond as Collegians.
Please email pca@ljbc.wa.edu.au to register your interest.

Networking Events
As a PCA we value our local business and school community as well as the experiences and opportunities we can foster for current and past students at LJBC. These events were a great success in 2021 and we look forward to continuing this in 2022.
PCA Networking events provide a great opportunity for parents, alumni, students, and members of our local business community to generate opportunities and provide connections and support within our school community.
It is our hope that we will be able to host networking events throughout the year, however we are bound by any COVID related requirements/restrictions. We hope to be able to host our first PCA Networking Breakfast Event for 2022 on Friday 11 March 2022, so we encourage you to ‘save the date’.
If we are able to go ahead, we would love you to join us for a morning of meeting others, building connections, networking, and some delicious breakfast nibbles prepared and served by LJBC hospitality students.
