Cadets have had a great start to the year with giant water slides and a sausage sizzle on the College Oval for our first introductory afternoon in Week 2. Even the weather played its part with the sun shining making it the perfect afternoon to get wet.

Last week our Cadets were put through their paces at the HBF Arena learning some practical skills around water safety and completing the required swim test for the year. There was also time for a bit of fun in the whirlpool.

To streamline the uniform issuing process new Cadets are encouraged to return their uniform sizing slip to Student Reception, as soon as possible. Uniforms will be distributed once the bond has been received and the Cadet has been checked for size.

To help keep everyone up-to-date, students enrolled in Cadets are entered into an un-timetabled class on SEQTA. A calendar of events is regularly updated and uploaded, together with photos of our activities. Parents and guardians will be advised of upcoming excursions and camps, when they are able to be run, via email through Consent 2 Go, so please keep an eye out for these and respond by the due date.
