AFL Coach Jonathan Grullis

It is great to be able to highlight our talented staff at LJBC. We would like to acknowledge the outstanding efforts that Jonathan Grullis has had on Australian Football, as a high level coach.

Mr Grullis is currently a level 2 high performance coach and as such was appointed as Head Coach for the State 15s AFL girls team for 2022. This year saw a return to interstate travel for the national carnival, which was held in Lavington NSW, just outside Albury.

Mr Grullis, expertly led the team to allow the girls every opportunity to showcase their skills. The WA girls finished in second place, narrowly going down by 8pts in the Grand Final against QLD.

Not only has Mr Grullis coached at the state level, but he has once again been appointed as assistant coach of the Associated and Catholic Colleges (ACC) AFL girls representative team. The ACC team played a 3 association playoff with Independent Girls Schools Association (IGSSA) and Government Schools through SSWA. ACC finish in second place with some tough competition throughout the day.
