Gathering together with other parents can be an excellent way to build relationships and create a sense of community and trust. With that in mind, we organised an opportunity for parents of our littlest students to come together for a chat, coffee and treats while enjoying a watercolour tutorial by local artist, and former LJBC colleague Jan Garner. It was wonderful to gather together; a time to slow down, share experiences, offer support and encouragement, have some laughs, and produce our very own work of art.

Thank you Jan for so generously sharing your expertise and time at our gatherings. All agreed, it was a lovely shared experience.

So, whether you're a parent of a Kindy, or Year 6 student, let’s keep reaching out to other parents and continue to build connections. You never know what opportunities and friendships may arise from a simple hello!
