Recently, our Year 9 and 10 Drama students attended Yirra Yaakin’s Theatre Company’s performance of Hide the Dog at the Dolphin Theatre as part of Perth Festival.

For some of these students it was their first time watching a professional show and the audience was buzzing with energy.  

Following the excursion, students wrote theatre reviews commenting on the comedic characters extravagant costumes and positive messages of friendship and cultural understanding.

We look forward to seeing Year 9 and 10 class performances. The inspiration they received from seeing professional actors on the stage will be invaluable.
