Niamh has enrolled in a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance, through CareerLink which is a nationally recognised qualification that provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to work as an assistant in a healthcare setting. This course focuses on a range of topics such as infection control, communication skills, basic emergency response and patient care.

During her course, Niamh has had the opportunity to work alongside experienced healthcare professionals and gain practical skills in a real healthcare setting. She has also had the chance to develop her communication skills, which are essential in any healthcare setting. Niamh finds it fulfilling to be able to communicate with patients, understand their needs, and provide them with the appropriate care.
